Weems LifeCare

Weems LifeCare is a 30-day residential treatment program for substance use disorders. Located in Meridian, Mississippi, LifeCare is open to men and women age 18 or older. Extended treatment beyond the initial 30-day inpatient program allows individuals to work during the day. Clients can stay up to 60 days in the three-quarter-way program. Funding... is available through the Mississippi Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for eligible clients. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured program consisting of three group meetings per week for 10 consecutive weeks after business hours, which allows participants to keep their regular work schedules in most cases. Individual counseling is also an important part of IOP. Eligibility for this outpatient program is determined by the initial assessment. Individuals must be medically stable and able to abstain from substance use during the program. One year of recovery support services are provided at no change to individuals who complete any of our treatment programs.
