During this time, WaveRider Security realized that the prices these larger cybersecurity companies were charging were simply out of reach for most small and medium-sized businesses. That is why WaveRider Security decided to start WaveRid... er Security's own business. Many of the smaller IT companies out there typically lack the skills, tools, and experience to provide complete coverage to businesses. While they can be trusted to assist with desktop support and possibly server work, it is rare that they have the breadth and experience necessary to provide the necessary assistance in the security and compliance fields as well as with enterprise-style cloud deployments. This can be a huge problem for smaller companies, since they are required to adhere to all of the same regulations as the larger companies, such as HIPAA, DFARS, NIST, and PCI standards.
