The Waste Assets Management Corporation (WAMC) is a statutory corporation created under the Waste Recycling and Processing Corporation (Authorised Transaction) Act 2010, and is an agency of the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation and subject to the control and direction of the Minister for Department of Finance, Services and Property. WAMC provides specialised operational management of Sydney's largest landfill, Eastern Creek Waste Management Centre, rahabilitation and management of closed landfills, is a joint-venture partner in renewable energy business, and provides other specialised services.
