Prime Nutrition develops, manufactures and markets functional nutrition products produced from milk proteins and other natural sources. Prime Nutrition is based in Port Melbourne, Australia. Warrnambool Cheese and Butter was established in 1888, making it the oldest dairy company in Australia. The company was founded by a group of local dairy farmers, merchants and residents. In our first year, we sourced milk from only six dairy farmers. Today that number has increased to over 600 suppliers from areas covering south western and central Victoria, and South Australias Fleurieu Peninsula and the South East of that state. Together these farms supply over 800 million litres of milk to the company each year. WCB is the only ASX listed dairy company and we employ over 350 dedicated people who love the dairy industry and ensure we excel in all we do.
