WAPF and gaps to the rescue! When I stumbled upon the Weston A. Price Foundation® and the GAPS gut healing protocol (Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome) several years ago, I knew that I had found the gift of ancestral wisdom that my generation had missed and sorely needed. Without trying to sound too enthusiastic, it was quite an awakening! I s... aw recovery in myself and my loved ones from very serious health conditions that seemed hopeless. I feel compelled to share what I've learned. These two cherished books became almost like a life-line. I can't begin to tell you how much the knowledge contained within has helped me and We all want to see the next generations thrive in good health and happiness, but it is painfully obvious that's not what is happening. Our current system is badly broken. Children are suffering in epidemic numbers with neurological damage and autoimmune diseases that were rarely found before in those so young. There are so many kids with asthma, allergies, cancer, diabetes, chronic infections and spectrum disorders that have become common to the point of it being accepted as normal. It is NOT normal and we can't be complacent. I have a strong belief in traditional wisdom . My Norwegian ancestors knew nothing of vaccines and toxic medications, yet they thrived into old age. Of course, back then, in all cultures food was organic, free from processing, chemical additives, glyphosate and GMO's. There wasn't a pill for every symptom. The childhood diseases amongst well-nourished people were a rite of passage that strengthened immunity for life. Instead of using the vast wisdom of our ancestors (none of us would be here without it), corporate marketing has lead the way in using chemicals in food, medicine and agriculture. This shows excellent results in the financial world. But, it is at the expense of everyone's health, animal welfare, and the very planet.
