Who is Wapda

Qamar Zaman is Mechanical Engineer from University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar Pakistan. Has worked as Mechanical Maintenance engineer T arbela power station for about 23 years. Has worked as Chief Engineer (E&M) at Neelum Jhelum Hydro Electric Project Muzaffarabab AJ&K for about six years. Also worked as Advisor E&M at Neelum Jhelum Hydro Electric Project. We had always been thinking rather dreaming of setting up a Company in private sector, for rendering energy oriented useful services to the country. Being highly committed to this noble cause, we kept working day and night and ultimately succeeded in our mission. This way our dream came true, by the grace of Almighty Allah. We feel greatly honored of entering into a Contract with the PakhtunKhawa Energy Development Organization (PEDO), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Operation & Maintenance of 18MW PEHUR HYDROPOWER COMPLEX GADOON Distt. SWABI. We have hydel power professionals, carrying years long experience in different disciplines of energy sector. We take them as true asset of our Company. While acknowledging our expertise, We have expended our scope of activities beyond Operation and Maintenance of Power Stations.As Chief Executive of the Company, I stand the luckiest, to lead them. From 1979 to date (39 Years) experience in hydel generation with WAPDA on different positions. He started his career as a Construction Supervisor at G.S.C Mardan (For one year) and Line Superintendent (LS-1) at Area Electricity Board Peshawar (For Three years). He was Assistant Resident Engineer at 22 MW Rasul Hydel Power Station. Remained Shift Engineer & Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Tarbela Power Station (For 19 years).
