At Wyah Counseling our focus is client centered education and therapy. Wyah Counseling is certified by the state to provide DWI Services. We have 30 years of combined training in this field! Along with our Behavioral Therapy services we also offer Out of State Reviews, ADETS Classes, DWI 20 & 40 Hour Classes and DWI Assessments, Our office is locat... ed downtown in Franklin, NC and we provide both in-person (mask required per NC Governor) and virtual video sessions. JAN'S BIO: I enjoy working with people and helping to create a place of acceptance and trust. I believe we all have answers inside of us, we just need an opportunity to rediscover them. One of my passions is facilitating DWI groups and treatment. I am excited to work in this field and help people in this way at Wyah Counseling! When I am not in the office I love hiking and backpacking. I have 3 dogs and one cat who also keep me busy. My children and grandchildren are the heart of my life! *************************************************** CHRISTY'S BIO: My goal is to come alongside others to support and provide a safe, confidential space on their path to healing. This is a second career for me as I found many people coming to talk to me about what was going on in their lives. Not too long after this, I trained to provide biblical counseling at my local church before attending Walla Walla College to obtain my Masters in Social Work graduating in 2003. Every chance I get, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two dogs, cat and horse. I also love crafting, working in my garden and hiking.
