Walkers Moving & Storage (Walkers) now to provide a global service, Walkers are about to expand its Australian operations with the launch of an International division in NSW and soon a second international branch in Qld. Providing a complete service to their customers. The opening comes at a time of growth for Walkers, which is raising its focus on... international moving services for families and corporate personnel moving to and from Australia. The international expansion means a greater network of partners not only within Australia but throughout the world. Walkers NSW Branch Manager, Adam Strickland, said, "We are very excited to be opening a new division of Walkers which will further our abilities in international moving services in and out of NSW". With the new international branch based in Fairfield, one of Sydney's major industrial centres, we have set out to create convenience and accessibility for clients moving. Walkers welcomes Keith Boshell our new International Manager, who will open the new division with over 20 years behind him in international moving. Warren Strickland, Director at Walkers, said: "We are delighted to be expanding into the international moving market, where the demand for international services has rapidly grown with Australia being a major migrant destination". "In recent years, Walkers has attracted considerable overseas inquiry which has forced Walkers to meet our customers' needs for a complete moving services to include first class international removals" added Juliette Strickland GM. Preparations are under way to inaugurate the new division once further operational customs and quarantine licensing approvals are obtained. Consequently Walkers plans to offer import services allowing us to service our international agents who have many customers moving to Australia from the UK, NZ, US, Canada, South Africa, Singapore and China.
