Walkabout was formed over 10 years ago when 3 practitioners joined together and blended their talents to create A premier Orthotics and prosthetics company. Walkabout employ's 11 people who service the main facility in Wausau (across from Aspirus Wausau Hospital) and outreach clinics throughout North Central Wisconsin. The patient is given the opportunity to examine different methods of cushioning, suspension, appearance, and all the mechanics involved in selecting a prosthesis.
