The Company started its LPG marketing operations in August, 1989 under the trade name of WAKGAS after it signed its first LPG Sales/Purchase agreement with the Oil and Gas Development Corporation (OGDC) and Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) for the purchase of LPG from the gas field of Adhi. A flagship of WAK Group renowned as WAKGAS started its LPG... marketing operations in August, 1989, WAK GAS is Pakistans only ISO-certified LPG concern engaged in buying, filling, marketing and distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas.Pakistans largest on-ground and mobile storage facility of over 6000MT and 1500 tons respectively, enables WAKGAS to cater to the versatile needs of its diversified customer-base comprising 40 million individuals and entities. WAKGASs state-of-the-art ISO-certified cylinder and bowser manufacturing facility is the backbone of its sales and distribution network comprising 5 strategically located filling and storage plants, 2200 branded outlets, 1200 distributors and a cylinder population exceeding 1.3 million, across Pakistan. WAK Steel came in to existence in April, 1990. WAK Steel is an ISO-certified manufacturing facility at Lahore for manufacturing LPG cylinders, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and LPG bowsers. The facility has the capacity to produce over 250,000 LPG Cylinders of various capacities at the facility each year. All the present Bowsers being used WAK GAS another subsidery of WAK GROUP the Parent company of WAK STEEL have been manufactured in house besides many high pressure tanks and other storage facilities. Falcon Oil incorporated in March, 1995 and became a Public Limited Company (Non Listed) in May, 1995. As the latest addition to the group, FALCON OIL is setting up a world-class oil refinery at Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK), in collaboration with a Chinese company (GEDI).
