About Volunteer English Program
The Volunteer English Program (VEP) has been serving Chester County, PA for over 40 years by providing free, one-to-one English language instruction to adult learners, particularly immigrants and refugees. The program aims to transform lives by helping students learn English and understand American culture while also offering opportunities for community members to become tutors. Each year, VEP supports around 300 adult learners, with many more on a waiting list, by recruiting, training, and equipping volunteer tutors. Through fundraising efforts, such as raffles and donations, VEP continues to enhance its resources and maintain accessibility for all students.Explore more
