Voices Unlimited

The VU Sound is a 130-strong vocal group based in Worcester, Worcs. We perform in theatres, at corporate events, large parties and the like, and in recent times have sung at a Safari Park, in a Cathedral, and on top of a furnace! The group was formed in 2008, starting out with just 30 singers under the musical direction of Ria Keen and the manageme... nt of Worcester Ambassador Anne Bradshaw. Our repertoire is strictly contemporary and ranges from Big Band Swing (Glenn Miller, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra) to pop and rock (Bon Jovi, Backstreet Boys, Beatles, Billy Joel, Blue and other artists beginning with B!) and musical theatre (The Lion King, Les Miserables, Tommy, We Will Rock You, Dreamgirls and many more). Forget terms like 'choir' when it comes to The VU Sound - what we deliver is full-on contemporary vocal styling and performance, without a hint of the traditional 'choral' sound, folders or indeed anything else that you might expect! Neither are we a 'Glee' substitute...... nope, The VU Sound is a product all of its own, and has been described in the press as 'A spine-tingling wall of sound', 'Outstanding entertainment', 'The best night out you'll ever have'... you get the picture.Read More
