Dr. James D. Pierson was born and raised here in Plymouth. He graduated from Plymouth schools before heading to Connecticut to attain his undergraduate degree from Sacred Heart University. He decided to stay in the Constitution State to attend Chiropractic school at the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic. Working primarily in a Famil... y Chiropractic setting Dr. Jim was an associate chiropractor back in Connecticut and here in Massachusetts. He served as the associate chiropractor for Truex Chiropractic Center before ultimately purchasing the practice from Dr. John Truex back in 2018. Dr. Jim was actually a patient at at Truex before was ever a doctor there. As a high school wrestler he suffered an injury to his spine which is what ultimately brought him the Truex Chiropractic as a patient at 14 years old. His remarkable results inspired him to master this amazing healing art and help others as he was helped many years earlier. Vital Chiropractic, LLC started life as Truex chiropractic center, PC back in 1972. It has been in its current location in the Plymouth industrial Park since 1986. Dr. Truex served the greater Plymouth Area for over 40 years before retiring and selling the practice to Dr. Pierson in October of 2018.
