Viscount Alexander Public School

Viscount Alexander Public School is a dual track school with a JK-6 English program and SK-5 EFI that opened its doors in 1951. The Sandy Hill location is ideal for our students because we are located in the vicinity of the University of Ottawa, close to a number of community resources as well as the longest skating rink in the world. Many of our v... olunteers come from the surrounding neighbourhood. Our mission statement reflects that children come first and their individual needs are our priority. We extend caring, collaboration and commitment to every student, their parents, and the community. Working together as a positive, optimistic family, we focus on preparing our students academically, socially and physically for an ever-changing and demanding society. The staff of Viscount Alexander Public School would like to extend a warm welcome to our families both old and new.
