From a young age, Lucy has always been drawn to language. Born to a French mother, Lucy learned to speak both French and English fluently as a child. Later, she discovered a love for Spanish. Her passion for languages led her to Middlebury College where she obtained a degree in International Relations with a focus in European Languages & Culture. L... ucy then went on to complete Middlebury's post-graduate teacher education program. She has studied and taught in Europe and Latin America which enhanced her teaching by providing her with a deeper understanding of culture and language. In 2007, Lucy was inspired to start a personalized tutoring service when she realized how much her students benefited from one-on-one attention outside of the classroom. vis-à-vis provides individualized and customized assistance to each student dependent upon their particular learning style to assure maximum achievement. vis-à-vis prides itself on empowering students to believe that they can learn language when presented with the right tools.
