When fashion e-commerce first arrived, we were excited to have the world's runways at our fingertips. The choice was endless - but buying fashion online turned out to be something of an obstacle course. You'd hesitate, go for it, wait for delivery, try it on, feel disappointed. We figured there had to be better way. We began to wonder if data could... help. What if we could gather product information, overlaying complex measurements over garment silhouettes? What if we could create an entirely new way to discover fashion online? First off, we knew we had to solve the biggest problem: finding the right size and fit. So we started working with some of the world's best pattern makers and online retailers, conducting research with the Swedish School of Textiles and early clients such as Acne Studios to help guide our journey. A strong demand for our solution made us focus on Asia, and in 2018 we moved our headquarters to Tokyo, Japan, where we now have a growing team of developers, designers, and data scientists, together working to redefine how we shop for fashion online.
