Before Virtus, Darren worked as a Deputy Sheriff for 12 years and a Range Instructor for five. He saw firsthand how varying ammunition works, the challenges of always using something different and never having enough stock. While he enjoyed his job, he wanted to do more for the ammunition industry. He began inquiring and researching ammunition and supply chain demands and decided to take the leap out of law enforcement into the business world.
