From an early age, I have always had ideas and envisioned designs. I was lucky to grow up in an industrious family that gave me the environment to create and "make". Though sidetracked into the business world with an economics degree from UCLA, I surrendipiously ended up designing shoes which led to interiors. Through the years I have shared my lov... e of fabrics and quilting by teaching and developing volunteer projects assosiated with schools and the Visions Art Museum I have 20+ years of experience in interior design involving color consultation, space planning, and styling rooms for my clients. A passion for working with fabrics has contributed to my expertise in window treatments, bedding, pillows ect. My projects include clientelle in CA, OR, IA, NC, CO and FL. I have ventured into on-line retailing by maintaining an Etsy shop, VirtuesofColor, that sells original pillow designs. I provide creative, funtional fabric solutions for any room in your home. We'll meet, and then I will present comprehensive design ideas with repect to your budget. My goal is to deliver impeccable customer service while making the design decision process as enjoyable as possible. I have resources for large projects and enjoy working with other professionals, ie: contractors and architects. *On numerous occasions, Julie has helped me choose fabric, paint, drapery designs and the hardware to go with them.
