Vimy Edmonton

Vimy Edmonton is the home of Vimy Hockey, Vimy Lacrosse , Vimy Sport Fit, Vimy Outdoor Pursuits, Vimy Baseball & Softball, Vimy BJJ, Vimy Ringette and Vimy Golf. In 2003, the Junior High hockey program moved from our original school, Donnan, to Vimy Ridge Academy and a Senior High hockey program was started. Vimy Edmonton is now the home of 6 thriving and vibrant sports alternative programs, offering student-athletes an opportunity to pursue their athletic and academic dreams. These student-athletes come from across the Province to enrol in one of our three programs. Vimy has even been the host of an international student, a hockey player from Japan. The reputation of Vimy Edmonton is well respected with professionally trained staff across all of its programs. Student-athletes are exposed to world-class learning opportunities in the classroom, in the fitness centre, on playing fields and on the ice. Vimy Hockey has developed world-class hockey players excelling in the professional ranks, Vimy Lacrosse has developed elite lacrosse players playing at the NCAA level and Vimy Sport Fit has been the home of many elite student-athletes in a wide variety of sports including swimming, skiing and figure skating. Vimy Outdoor Pursuits has fostered a love of the outdoors while working on the skills and safety practices required to ensure that our student-athletes continue to explore post-graduation. Vimy Baseball has refined the skills of our baseball student-athletes, affording them the opportunity to maximize their potential as they work toward their recruiting goals.
