VIKAS is an exclusive boarding school, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. (vide affiliation no.130178). Vikas Vidyaniketan had a very humble beginning in early 1990s. It was the time when students from North Coastal Andhra Pradesh were going to other parts of AP for their Intermediate studies. There was need for an Insti... tution in this part of the State with new idease. Our organization established in 1993 with 196 students gave a new definition to the residential system of education and the exodus of students to other parts of the State came to an end. The beginning was humble and dedicated. Within no time we made an indelible impression on the parents and well wishers. Vikas has at its helm, young and dynamic management and highly dedicated and disciplined staff. With the establishment of Vikas, Visakhapatnam started figuring in the leading cities / centres of Educational Institutions in Andhra Pradesh. VIKAS believes in Collective Wisdom and Team Work. Teams in VIKAS work in true sense of the term. Team work is the strong fundamental bed rock of the Institution. Every plan and programme in our organisation is discussed with all the members of the faculty and then implemented. Every activity is shared by all the members. Here the responsibilites are shouldered and joys are shared by all with equal interest and enthusiasm. Here the hierachy is only for the administrative convenience. There is a proper consultation at every stage. Let it be academics or picnics, Vijayothsavam, or other functions every one is counsulted and involved.
