The company specialises in providing production solutions to the fresh vegetable industry in New Zealand. Our experience covers the complete range of vegetables produced in New Zealand whether produced in the open field, or greenhouse for both the domestic and international markets. Vigour took over the agronomy business of Growtech Limited in 2004... , who had been offering specialised freelance vegetable crop agronomy services to New Zealand vegetable growers since 1995. Growtech was the first company in New Zealand to offer this type of independent advice to growers. Vigour services the entire New Zealand vegetable market from our base office, located on the northern outskirts of the city of Christchurch. Our extensive field research is conducted within commercial fields where we conduct initial screening for many field crops, grow out trials and field trials for fertilisers and crop protection products. We work closely with many co-operating growers throughout New Zealand who assist with these development trials and evaluations. Vigour delivers our services to those growers who choose to "grow with Vigour" by way of utilising our range of vegetable seed products. We are at the forefront of new technology in seeds, agronomy and market intelligence, utilising a global network of like minded individuals and companies with whom we share ideas and trial results.
