Nguyen, M.D., a board certified physician, who has strong medical and surgical background. She was trained in general practice, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery before dedicating her career into her real passion of Dermatology. Dr. Nguyen's knowledgeable background provides significant benefits to her patients. After graduating from her training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2006, Dr. Nguyen practiced dermatology three years in her home state California before moving to Northern Virginia. She is interested in all aspects of dermatology, from acne, rash, and hair loss, excessive sweatiness to skin cancer, skin reconstruction and skin rejuvenation. She sets a high standard of skin care and expectation to herself and her staff. In addition to her outstanding academic training, Dr. Nguyen was first trained with her father, an old school scholar, dedicated neurologist, by working in his office since she was a teenager. Exposure to medicine and patient care at such a young age had given Dr. Nguyen special, natural and genuine characters in physician-patient relationship. She always treats her patient as how she and her family would like to be treated, with caring and understanding. Beside medicine, Dr. Nguyen is a concert level pianist, and a piano teacher.
