This was initiated under the leadership of Vijnana Bharati a leading national science organization. Initial Objective of the network is to develop a platform for knowledge sharing, Capacity building and training. Provide Science orientation to Social organizations and enhance Science and Technology interventions for Societal development & Nation building. Officially formed on 14 th February 2017 taking inspiration from the NGO Meet held during the second IISF , conducted in December 2016 with the theme 'Science for masses'. Conducted Six Zonal and Twelve state level capacity building workshop for Social organisations (NGOs) on the theme 'Scientific Interventions for transforming India', thus giving Science orientation to organizations working in Social sector. We were successful in conducting National Social Organizations and Institutions Meet (NSOIM) on 13th and 14th Oct 2017, during the recently concluded third IISF in Chennai. 410 Social organisations & Institutions representing 22 states across the nation participated. State level training programs were conducted in 16 states as a follow up of the zonal programme and along with this, it was proposed to form Vaibhav Bharati, a knowledge forum for supporting VibhaVani activities with a group of committed resource persons comprising Experts, Consultant, Mentors,Trainers and Entrepreneurs.
