In 1995, VEMAS earned a "Grow Vermont" award from the Vermont Chamber of Commerce and Vermont Business Magazine identified VEMAS as the second fastest growing manufacturing company in Vermont in 1996. In 1998, another expansion took the company's production space to 28,000 square feet, which was followed by INC. Magazine naming VEMAS the 225th fastest growing privately held company in the U.S. In July 2005, VEMAS purchased the vacant Williams Machine Shop in Poultney, VT. The new VEMAS complex consists of 4 buildings.
