About Vaughan Vikings
The City of Vaughan Baseball Association (CVBA) was founded in 2001 as a result of the merger of two separate organizations, the Maple Minor Baseball Association and the Woodbridge Knights Baseball Club. Both organizations have a colourful history and traditions with baseball in their respective communities that date back over a decade. The CVBA will continue to build on the history and traditions that have already been established by these organizations. The 2001 Inaugural Season for the CVBA was a resounding success both on and off the field. The enthusiasm for baseball and the new organization was evident right from the start as registrations in the CVBA were very brisk and exceeded all expectations with over 900 players involved in the three levels of play; House League, Select and Representative ("Rep") programs.
