Vince and Christie Bizzini began Valley Defense Consulting, Inc after receiving numerous inquiries about where and how to find both quality, and local firearms training for the general public. While acting a... s the regional police academy's lead firearms instructor, Vince developed numerous courses for pistol, rifle, and shotgun. Prior to his retirement in 2011, he was also the lead firearms instructor/armorer for his agency, and was tasked with all firearms training, program development, and firearm maintenance. Vince's reputation as an extremely skilled firearms instructor and class A instructor precede him. He is very well known as an expert in his field throughout several surrounding counties and is highly regarded by the organizations that have trained him, as well as the organizations that he has provided training for. Christie has acquired a vast amount of knowledge in her more than 20 years in the law enforcement industry. Serving the community as a Police Officer, Community Service Officer, Legal Clerk, and Firearms Instructor, she has had the opportunity to experience law enforcement, firearms, and our community from a variety of perspectives. Through all this, she has found she has a passion for the challenge and responsibility of firearms training. Christie is a Glock Armorer, a Taser International-certified Taser Instructor/Armorer, and became a state certified firearms instructor in 2001, through CA POST (CA Peace Officer Standards & Training), when she began teaching private citizens.
