About Valley Communications

Professional Services offered by Valley Communications: We are at your service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Quality customer service is our focus. Valley Communications was established in 1959, then known as the 'Kentville Telephone Answering Service', to provide emergency call taking with dispatch service to the Kentville Volunteer Fire Department. Since fire dispatch requires 24/7 coverage, it was only fitting that other areas of the business developed to provide service to other agencies that required around the clock coverage. At present, we operate as one of four 911 PSAP's (Public Safety Answering Points) in the province of Nova Scotia. We also provide fire dispatch for 85 fire departments in the counties of Kings, Annapolis, Hants, Lunenburg, Queens, Colchester and Cumberland, and act as a secondary 911 answering point for these areas.
