Valley Cat Music offers Music Together® music & movement classes for Babies (up to 8 months), mixed-age Family (0... to 5 yrs w/caregiver), and Big Kids (5 to 8 yrs drop-off). Class locations in the Valley: * Garri Dance (Burbank) * Center Stage Dance (Valley Village/SC) * Home Birth Service (Sherman Oaks) * Valley Cat Studio (Valley Village/NH) We are all about using play, exploration, & caregiver modeling to teach a love of music & basic music competency (singing in tune/matching pitch & keeping a steady beat) using music from around the world AND created by Music Together developers to provide young ears with a rich variety of tonalities & rhythms. Every child is musical, and music learning supports ALL learning. Grownups have fun & are challenged, too; plus it's an opportunity to set aside 45 minutes to focus on just one thing: making music with one's children in a community of families doing the same! Private beginning guitar & ukulele lessons offered by Deborah Dietrich in Valley Village and via Zoom. Valley Cat Music was created by Deborah Dietrich in June of 2011 and was once a combination of Del Rey Music Together in the Marina (now Marina Music Together) and Sunshine Music in the Valley, which started offering the classic Music Together program in 2009.
