Vahana Offshore (M) Sdn. Bhd., founded in 2014, is the first Malaysian company to own and operate its own fleet of Self-Propelled Jack-Ups/Liftboats for offshore works. Vahana Offshore embarked on building 2 units of Self-Propelled Jack-Ups/Liftboats in 2014 and awarded the contract to Eversendai Offshore to build these vessels at their strategically located, 200,000 square metre waterfront fabrication facility in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The vessels are expected to be delivered and ready for work by the end of June 2016. Armed with cutting edge technology, Vahanas vessels are designed in accordance with the internationally recognized classification society DNV-GL fall under the class notation: 1A1 Self Elevating Offshore Support Unit E0, DPS2, HELDK, CRANE SELF PROPELLED. Vahana Offshore has the added advantage of leveraging on the Eversendai Groups impressive portfolio of accomplished projects and extensive network in the Middle East, South Asia and South East Asia.
