UUSD has vision coverage through Medical Eye Services, also known as MES Vision. MES has been UUSDs vision services provider for years; if you have used your benefits successfully in the past, you do not need to make any changes. Make an appointment with the eye care specialist of your choice. MES Participating Provider information can be obtained... by visiting www.mesvision.com or by calling MES Vision at 1-800-877-6372. When you check in for your appointment, inform the provider you have MES Vision. How to use your vision benefits at a Non-Participating Provider: If Covered Services are received from a Non-Participating Provider, you are responsible for paying the provider in full. TIP #1: Do NOT present your Anthem Medical Insurance Card when obtaining vision services. If a vision provider bills Anthem, your claims will be denied.
