The Stand Out Engagement Survey conducted quarterly is one way USME ensures that each employee has a voice about their work environment, engagement level, career path, and satisfaction. In addition to the quarterly Stand Out Engagement Survey empl... oyees are asked to engage in weekly online check-ins with their supervisor to ensure communication flows freely. For 2019, USME employees scored an A for total engagement based on their survey answers, comparatively higher than the healthcare industry average. USME was also named a Houston Chronicle Top Workplace in 2019 and 2020 . We play as hard as we work at US Med Equip and that means taking the time to collaborate, communicate, participate in team building activities and outings, and giving back to the communities we serve. Our culture is a family that supports each other as well as celebrates each other successes. USMEDEQUIP is the only job I have ever had. I started back in 2006 when I was 21 years old and I cannot imagine working anywhere else. The people and the culture separate us from others. We have a calling to serve here and I am blessed to have been a part of it for as long as I have. USME believed in me when I was about to give up on myself.
