USD#508 is a progressive school district of over 1000 students and 78 faculty. Upon completion of construction, the company's facilities will include departmentalized buildings with grades PreK-2, 3-6, and 7-12. All of the new building projects will contain FEMA approved safe rooms to ensure the safety of the company's students and faculty. Technol... ogy is a vital tool in the learning process and the company is proud that Baxter Springs is very progressive in the use of technology at all grade levels. BHS has had the 1:1 Initiative for many years with each HS student issued a laptop computer. BMS students have a 1:1 Initiative with iPad devices for each student. The company's elementary students all have access to iPads as well, giving them the latest technology integration.
