Every student will create relationships with caring adults at Rolla USD 217 that foster their desire and ability to succeed as they enter the working world. Every student will receive individualized learning opportunities. and relationships with Rolla staff to extend into that future. Every student will increase their capacity to interact with others in a positive and fruitful manner. Students and staff are encouraged to wear masks, but it will not be required, unless ordered to do so by a governing body who has official jurisdiction over the district. Teachers, staff, and students are encouraged to remain socially distanced as much as possible. Teachers are encouraged to take classes outside as weather and class objectives allow. Students and staff are encouraged to wash their hands often, with soap and water, especially after using the bathroom and before meals. They are also encouraged to use the hand sanitizer stations that will be provided throughout the buildings. We ask that students and staff are diligent in covering their nose and mouths when coughing or sneezing. Classrooms will be cleaned daily.
