RapidArc is a new approach to delivering image-guided, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IG-IMRT). This improves tumor targeting and shapes the radiation dose so more radiation is delivered to the tumor and less to surrounding healthy tissues. As we move forward, our transition period for this integration begins in July 2014 and likely will take 6-12 months. We want to assure you that at no time will this reorganization negatively impact your care or access to the doctor you see now.
