Urban Rivers

Urban Rivers focuses on transforming city waterways into wildlife sanctuaries, primarily through their flagship project, the Wild Mile, a mile-long floating eco-park on the Chicago River. The organization collaborates with various partners, including the City of Chicago, community groups, and scientific institutions, to promote ecological restorati... on and community engagement. By enhancing river habitats with lush greenery and public spaces, they aim to revitalize local businesses and foster economic growth.
