Urban Matrix

Urban Matrix is a full-service architecture and urban design firm dedicated to the regeneration of cities and urban places. Founded in 2009, the studio promotes sustainable design and processes, with a focus on how each project can positively shape the public realm. Our work aims to strategically position existing and new development to function as... a catalyst for private investment and the regeneration of adjacent properties, neighborhoods and districts. Our process is rooted in a comprehensive stakeholder engagement process which helps form critical relationships and build a foundation to nurture the viability of large-scale projects. We actively pursue community based programming in our designs to foster a sense of community ownership and cultivate the future stewards needed to implement urban design plans over the long term.
