About Upstream
Upstream USA is deeply committed to measuring, iterating, and improving its intervention model so that we can deliver maximum impact. We all know that creating lasting change within the healthcare setting is hard, so it's critical to measure what's working, and make adjustments. Because of the national expertise and experience that Siobhan Shand, our Director of Training, brings to this work, our approach to improving clinic practice today is much smarter than our earliest attempts, and she continues to drive improvement. Our curriculum is now version 4.0, and in today's trainings, we do much more role-playing and teaching with interactive modules; we spend more time before and after the on-site experience, supplementing and reinforcing; and we're making much more use of technology as a teaching tool.
