Ours is a Green business intent on five R's: reuse, repurpose... , recycle, restyle, and reupholster. We believe in preserving old furniture because it's durable and solidly made, and because we don't like to see it end up in landfills. The old saying, "they just don't make it like they used to" is especially true in the furniture business. Most new furniture is made of plywood, particleboard, and cardboard, contributing to the average life span of a new piece of furniture being as short as 3-5 years, whereas an old, solid piece of reupholstered furniture can last upwards to 20-30 years.
