upBeat Education provide an insight into the exciting and varied world of percussion by means of enjoyable, interactive workshops. Our workshops are educational and informative across a broad range of topics and also demonstrate how approachable and easy music-making can be. One of the most important features of upBeat Education is that our visits... should stimulate schools into formulating their own policy on percussion tuition and integrating it into their classroom work, so that it can continue to thrive once our projects with them have finished. To this end we aim to produce a video tape as part of a teacher's pack which we can give to the schools in which we work.
