Grand Rapids Plastics, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Arthur J. Bott, Sr. as a single-plant operation, and later managed by his son, Jerry Bott, growing to four facilities when, in September of 2001 it was sold to Jefferson Plastics of St. Clair, Michigan. Grand Rapids Plastics later re-opened its 80,000 square foot facilities in 2003 under the ownership of the Bott family.
