Universal Health Solutions was founded by Laurie Angell RS in an effort to bring the medical community together to explore and discuss various modalities of integrative medicine in conjunction with more traditional practices. "I believe in integrative healthcare solutions. I believe in them because I've seen them change my own life, and I want othe... rs to experience the same health benefits I have as a result of this care." A graduate of Grand Valley State University (Grand Rapids, Michigan), Laurie spent several years as a registered sanitarian, before committing to raising her two daughters, as well as educating herself about holistic therapies. Though Laurie has not had an easy life - her parents both passed before she turned 19 - she credits meditation for keeping her grounded and whole. Laurie now commits her time, energy, and resources to massage therapy and advocating integrative medicine practices, hoping that others will benefit from the complementary medicine that has helped heal her. Today, Laurie is an active member of the American Holistic Medical Association and sits on the organization's Conference Steering Committee.
