Universal Field Supplies is a 100% Canadian owned and operated business specializing in professional quality gear for the Arborist, Forestry, Mineral Exploration and Environmental Engineering industries. While the name Universal Field Supplies has only been in use since 2010, as a company we have more than 50 years of experience. Formerly Canadian... Forestry Equipment (CFE), established in 1966, the company's primary focus was the forestry industry. Over time, we began to expand into arboriculture, mineral exploration, and environmental engineering. CFE was purchased by Commercial Solutions in 2002. In 2010 they decided to sell the Ontario branch which was purchased, renamed Universal Field Supplies, and has been independently owned and operated ever since. Universal Field Supplies remains a Canadian provider of professional quality gear. While most companies throw themselves at many different sectors for quick returns, we pride ourselves on offering products that are tailored to a select number of industries. This allows us to provide a focused and personal approach that takes care of the specialized needs of our clients. In early 2017, Universal Field Supplies expanded our operations by opening a second location in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia in order to better serve our customers in Western Canada. Our retail stores located in Mississauga, ON and Port Coquitlam, BC feature extensive showrooms with a large selection of products. We don't just hire sales staff, all of our store employees have backgrounds in arboriculture and/or forestry and are well versed in the products that we carry in order to provide our customers with quality service and expert advice.
