United Telecomp was founded in 2000 by four IT colleagues. Before then, each of them had built successful consulting practices. Two had led a systems design and integration firm, serving corporations of all sizes. One had led an internetworking firm, especially for e-commerce and Fortune 500 corporations. One had led a telecommunications firm, desi... gning and implementing voice/data solutions. During that time, they referred clients to each other so many times that the lines between their companies started to blur. They noticed that most of their clients had to face the same kinds of IT issues: telecommunications, networking, systems integration, and e-commerce. At the same time, they noticed that no firm offered one-stop access to a full range of these services. An opportunity arose in the form of a question: "Wouldn't a single source be better for our customers?" The answer was clear. The three consulting companies joined forces. Doing so would give each of the partners more time to focus on solving technical issues. United Telecomp was born, named to reflect the union of telecommunications and computer consulting services. Since then, United Telecomp has redefined what it means to be a high-tech consultancy, supplying a wide range of companies with a diverse portfolio of technology and services.
