United Financial Group, Ltd. is an independent insurance brokerage firm, founded in 1981 by Michael DeLorenzo and his daughter Lee DeLorenzo. Michael DeLorenzo began his financial career in the estate planning division of a respected life insurance company in 1972; later expanding the practice to include pension and investment planning. In 1979 Lee... joined her father in business and their clear visions for absolute independence and quest to provide unbiased advice had the duo breakaway and form their own firm. Mr. DeLorenzo has since retired. Although the size of the company has increased substantially and the risk management evolved, many fundamental competencies remain the same.
