However, after graduation he accepted a full-time position at a small, struggling medical device manufacturing company where he had been working part-time. For the next 25 years under his direction, the medical device manufacturing company flourished and grew to have offices in Arizona, Utah, Colorado and Texas covering 9 Western states. The company not only manufactured its own medical diagnostic devices, it eventually became a distributor for over 50 medical manufacturing companies. He eventually sold the company to pursue other ventures. When one of his sons entered dental school, he decided he wanted to understand the dental industry much better, hoping to bring his business background to bear in a practice his son would eventually own. While delving into learning about the industry, he became intrigued by the relationship between the dental provider and the dental PPO insurance companies. He was familiar with the insurance world as he maintained responsibility himself over medical and dental benefits for his medical company. Mike and his wife currently reside in Gilbert, Arizona.
