Underx was Founded by Juan Obed Garcia in 2002. Obed and Kevin aka AlfieO started the network using windows irc servers with the help of their friends to make it happened. The network grew but a lot of challenges came up so the network keeps on going up and down. In 2004 the network went down totally due to massive DDOS attack and went back in 2006... then they got a new batch of friends to help them maintain the network in that year they decided to move into a linux system an adopt to Undernet style of services and IRCDs. But in 2014 the issue way back in 2004 happened again and they were massively attacked by a huge DDOS packets and made them to decide to go down again completely. Now in 2018 they decided to come back but since a lot of chat systems came up so the network never came to the way it was before now they only have few people and supporters but the servers are up now to cater chat users. They are still aiming to provide secured and quality chatting experience to everyone for free. As of the moment they only have 6 left servers to cater the users but for a small irc network this is enough for now. Soon if in the future they tend to grow again then new servers will be added. People around the world gathered to help the network to grow.
