Kingston Times is owned by Ulster Publishing, an independent, locally owned newspaper company. It began in 1972 with the Woodstock Times, and now, in addition to Kingston Times, also publishes the New Paltz Times, Saugerties Times and Almanac Weekly, an arts & entertainment guide that covers Ulster and Dutchess counties.
