The 11th Annual Scholarship Program for the children and grandchildren of Local 2280 members and retirees is underway! This year, we will be awarding at least ten (10) $500 scholarships to graduating seniors and thise enrolled in college ages 25 and under. The cost of the trip is $80, which includes a ticket to the game, bus ride on a luxury charter bus, subs, chips, pop, beer and water! There is an online option available to accommodate all shifts but if you plan on attending MCCC, Ive attached their class and registration information and you can register in person on Friday. The Women's Committee of UAW Local 2280 is sponsoring a Craft Show & Bake Sale in an effort to raise money for the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Walk for the American Cancer Society! The June, July and August General Membership meetings have been postponed and will be combined with the September 20th meeting. Fear not - should something arise pressing arise, a special meeting will be called. The Officers of Local 2280 would like to wish you and your familes a fun and safe summer!
