T.W. Generators Limited act as a dealer of used generating sets and associated equipment. We buy good quality used generators for stock (10kVA and upwards) and we also have ongoing requests from customers to source suitable standby and base-load equipment. We have bought and sold used generating sets for 35 years with the current largest purchase f... or stock containing: 3 x used generating sets in acoustic containers with a combined output of over 2.5MW (2 x 1250 kVA and 1 x 725 kVA). For this project the total weight of the machines that we had to de-commission and remove from site totalled over 125 tonnes and involved us in all aspects of removal including: agreeing method statements, dismantling components and facilitating removal with suitable cranes and transport (see image above of 1 of 1250kVA container mounted generators being unloaded).
