Turtle Associates, LLC (Turtle) is a self-performing American Indian Tribally Owned (AITOC) design-build/bid-build construction company. Owned by the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indian Tribe, Turtle is a certified Small Disadvantaged Business [SDB] and a certified Minority Business Enterprise [MBE] in New Jersey, in addition to being a certified member... of the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council. Turtle is an approved Small Business Enterprise [SBE] and Division of Property Management [DPMC] contractor under Category C009 in New Jersey, a licensed contractor in Delaware, registered in Virginia and with the District of Columbia Government. Turtle Associates also performs construction management and engineering services in a broad spectrum of project areas. We offer our clients in both government and private industry a full range of services from site engineering to turn-key contracts. Our customer base includes: FEMA, FAA, ANG, FAM, GSA, NAVFAC and USACE and we currently maintain offices and staff in 4 states. We have performed on projects in the most highly visable federal facilities in Washington, D.C. including the Theodore Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan Buildings and in New York including the IRS Building in Holtsville and the Duberstein Courthouse in Brooklyn. The energy savings we have realized on some of these projects are estimated at approximately 20% on projects ranging from mechanical systems to weatherization and building envelope systems. Our current efforts also include a recently awarded 5 year FAA IDIQ for General Construction and an overall support of the William J. Hughes Technical Center located in the Atlantic City International Airport complex in New Jersey.
